Ingredients

How to make it

  • Heat oven to 300F.
  • Whisk egg white until frothy and no liquid remains, then stir in spices.
  • Stir in nuts.
  • Spread on a cookie sheet lined with foil (I use my silpat) and put in oven.
  • Bake 15 minutes, then take nuts out to break up the clusters.
  • Return to oven, reduce to 250F and bake another 10 minutes (keep an eye on them so the nuts do not scorch!)
  • Take out nuts
  • Let them cool on the cookie sheet (nuts will turn crispy as they cool).
  • Break up the clusters
  • Keep in a air-tight container (I put them in little cellophane gift bags with pretty ribbons at Xmas)

I made this last night after struggling to find a roasted nut recipe that I liked. The combination of spices in this recipe are unusual and very vibrant! They were a hit with my beau, so I'm uploading some pictures for you! Thanks!

This sounds great! I had nuts that were so good at a grand opening one time and was never able to get the recipe, this sounds like it would taste similar. Thank you for posting.
