Luscious White Glaze

- 2 cups powdered sugar shopping list
- 1/4 cup whipping cream (approximate you may use slightly more or less) shopping list
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract or almond extract shopping list
- or substitute about 1/2 teaspoon of the vanilla or almond with lemon, orange, lime, Grand Marnier, you get the idea... to compliment the flavors in what you've made shopping list
How to make it
- In a small bowl whisk in the extract and half of the whipping cream, then slowly add, I add tablespoon by tablespoon, additional whipping cream to get the consistency you want.
- If the glaze gets too runny, just whisk in additional powdered sugar.
- How easy is that?
- If you aren't going to use it immediately, put plastic wrap over the bowl. Be sure it is touching the top of the glaze or it will harden.
- You can also refrigerate and use later. Just bring to room temperature to use.
- Since this has dairy in it, you must refrigerate it if you are going to let it sit for any length of time.
