Just Another Southern Style Hush Puppies

Ingredients
- Just Another Southern Style Hush Puppies shopping list
- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ shopping list
- 2 cups of plain corn meal shopping list
- 1/4 cup of sugar shopping list
- 7 tablespoons of minced onion shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups of buttermilk shopping list
- 1 tablespoon of flour shopping list
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda shopping list
- 1 teaspoon of salt shopping list
- 1 egg, beaten shopping list
How to make it
- Mix dry ingredients. Add onions.
- Stir egg and buttermilk together and add to mixture.
- Mix and drop by spoonfuls into hot oil.
- When done hush puppies will float to top.
- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
- Note do not OVER heat oil!
