Raspberry Wine Vinegar

- 12 ounces white wine vinegar.... 1 1/2 cups shopping list
- 1/2 cup sugar shopping list
- 1 - 1 1/2 cups fresh red raspberries shopping list
How to make it
- combine vinegar and sugar in a non aluminum 2-quart sauce pan
- heat until very hot, stirring occasionally
- DO NOT BOIL.... ( if the vinegar boils it will become cloudy)
- pour into a bowl or a 1 quart glass jar
- stir in raspberries...
- cover with plastic wrap..
- let stand in a cool place for 1 week or until the desired amount of flavor develops...
- strain through fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth twice
- store up to 6 months in a bottle or jar with a tight lid in the refrigerator
- makes 2 cups of vinegar

I want to try this. I suppose I could use frozen raspberries at this time of year. I love homemade dressings. Homemade vinegar will be even better.
