How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • For the Meatballs Mix Together:
  • The Ground Chuck, bread crumbs and onion soup mix
  • Make into small balls and place into a 9x13 baking dish.
  • For the Sauce Mix Together in a saucepan:
  • sauerkraut. cranberry sauce, chili sauce, water and brown sugar, simmer for 15-20 minutes then pour over meatballs
  • once sauce has been poured over meatballs bake uncovered for 1 1/2-2 hours

    Oh no, the kraut has to STAY - this sounds so good, can't wait to give it a try. Several interesting flavors going on in it, and I'm sure we're going to love every one of them...different post, and I'm glad I found it!

    I'm here trying to figure out what to do with my hamburger today and saw this. I've made these before and they are just tasty! They're so easy since you don't have to brown the meatballs. My daughter told me about these after she'd had them at a potluck and she told me what she thought they had in them because the lady who made them wouldn't give out the recipe. Well I googled what ingredients she could decipher and found this recipe. They are good and they just might be dinner tonight if I have the chili sauce. Thanks for reminding me about them.
