Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 4 tablespoons dry sherry
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 5 cloves garlic peeled and minced
  • 1 pound fresh shrimp rinsed peeled and deveined

Directions
  1. In small bowl blend together paprika, hot sauce, tomato paste, salt, cayenne and sherry.
  2. Warm olive oil in a heavy skillet over high heat and sauté garlic until fragrant about 2 minutes.
  3. Add shrimp to skillet and toss to coat then add spice mixture and toss to blend.
  4. Cook until shrimp are pink then serve warm from skillet with rice or pasta.
