Easy Egg And Oat One-pan Breakfast Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 c. milk or yogurt
  • 1 c. oats
  • 1 small apple diced
  • cinnamon and nutmeg to taste

Directions
  1. Beat eggs and stir in milk or yogurt.
  2. Add oats, apple, nutmeg and cinnamon.
  3. Cook like a pancake or scramble in oiled skillet.
  4. Enjoy as is or top with maple syrup,confection sugar or honey.

What's the difference in the resulting pancake if you use yogurt instead of milk?Also, could you switch the apple with berries or peach instead?


Sounds yummy. does the batter store OK or does that change it too much?
we make waffles with oats that we soak overnight then zip in the blender.
