How to make it

  • Combine cornstarch and cold water in a small glass, set aside.
  • Heat milk to just below a simmer in a small, non-metallic pot.
  • Stir in chocolate until melted, then add sugar and cayenne.
  • Stir in cornstarch slurry and cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
  • Just before serving, stir in liqueur.
