Easy Tapenade

I had 20 min to be at a friends house and I had to take something. If you need a quick, yummy recipe to take this is it!!

1 Block cream cheese shopping list
1 can whole med or large califorinia black olives drained shopping list
3-6 cloves of garlic cut in half ( I used 6 because we all LOVE garlic) shopping list
salt and pepper shopping list
fresh basil leaves about 8-10 torn into pieces shopping list
lemon juice ( half a lemon, or more to taste) shopping list
olive oil shopping list

place the cream cheese on a platter
place everything except the oilve oil in a food processor and pulse until well blended
Slowly add enough olive oil to make it come together
Place the mixture on the cheese and serve with crackers
** you can add anything such as capers, anchovies but this is what I had on hand that day and everyone loved it, I brought nothing home.
