Easy Tapenade Recipe

Ingredients

1 Block cream cheese

1 can whole med or large califorinia black olives drained

3-6 cloves of garlic cut in half ( I used 6 because we all LOVE garlic)

salt and pepper

fresh basil leaves about 8-10 torn into pieces

lemon juice ( half a lemon, or more to taste)

Olive oil

Directions

place the cream cheese on a platter

place everything except the oilve oil in a food processor and pulse until well blended

Slowly add enough olive oil to make it come together

Place the mixture on the cheese and serve with crackers

** you can add anything such as capers, anchovies but this is what I had on hand that day and everyone loved it, I brought nothing home.
