Ingredients

How to make it

  • Mix together all ingredients except for the paraffin and chocolate chips.
  • Shape this mixture into balls smaller than golf balls.
  • Use a double boiler to melt the paraffin and chocolate chips over boiling water.
  • Use a toothpick as a fork to pick up each ball and dip into chocolate then place on wax paper to cool.
  • Makes about 50 balls.

These are very easy and good. I do not use the paraffin, I use a little Crisco lard, it gives the same glistening but I find it a little safer than the paraffin. However, my mother used paraffin in her recipes and I'm still here. Thanks for the great recipe.

Its like a wax bar. You don't taste it in the chocolate but it makes it all shiny and cool nicely. You would probably find that in the canning section of the grocery.
