How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Butter shallow pan
  • Saut'e the sausage and onions in a skillet over medium heat, breaking up the meat until rawness disappears.
  • Core the apples, making a hole about 1 1/4 inches in diameter and cut them in half horizontally.
  • Place them in the pan and stuff firmly with the sausage.
  • Sprinkle on the brown sugar and bake for about 40 minutes, or until the apples are tender.
  • Serve with Maple Syrup
