How to make it

  • If using a rice cooker, add rice, water and bouillon to cooker and push start
  • Once cooked, stir in the remaining ingredients & serve
  • ____________________________________________
  • If using stovetop, bring water to a boil in a saucepan.
  • Stir in rice and bouillon
  • Cover.
  • Reduce
  • simmer 20 minutes
  • Add remaining ingredients.
  • **Instead of water & bouillon, you can use already prepared chicken broth
  • You can also add minced garlic, chopped yellow bell pepper and yellow onion!
  • ***Kids love it, too! Enjoy!

    Oh yes, a true accompaniment to Thai food. I can taste this dish already and have my chopsticks poised! I think I will pair this with a spicy short rib Bul-Goki and some homemade spring rolls for an Asian-Tour meal to warm us up in January.
