this recipe is easier than the original version... it makes 2 cups but you serve it demitasse cups...

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup orange liqueur
  • 2 teasp. sugar
  • 3 ( 2-inch ) strips of orange zest
  • 3 ( 2-inch) strips of lemon zest
  • 6 whole cloves
  • 1 -2 cinnamon sticks
  • 2 cups fresh brewed coffee

Directions
  1. in a small saucepan combine all ingredients.... except the coffee
  2. heat over low heat and stir until the sugar dissolves
  3. stir in the coffee
  4. strain into demitasse or espresso cups and serve immediately
