Ingredients
  • CRISPY FILLET OF FLOUNDER with Almonds
  • ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  • 4 slices fillet of flounder (you may substitute other fish)
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 c. corn flakes
  • 4 tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 Cup Chopped Almonds
  • salt and pepper and other spices to taste

Directions
  1. Preheat oven at 450 degrees.
  2. Rinse the fish with cold water.
  3. Use a glass baking pan or Corningware dish.
  4. (Spray well with baking spray).
  5. Roll the fish in the 1/2 cup milk so that breading will stick and will help keep the fish moist.
  6. Crush the 2 cups of corn flakes and roll the fish in it.
  7. (I coat the fish on a plate).
  8. Place in the prepared baking dish.
  9. Press almonds onto top of fish.
  10. Melt the 4 tablespoons of butter and pour over top of all.
  11. Place in preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, then serve
  12. We enjoy this with tartar sauce.

Wonder if lemon pepper could be added to give it a little bit of zing. Might try that on a one piece to see if I like it. Just a few sprinkles on top when putting it in the oven.
