Spicy Black Bean  Dip Recipe
This bean dip tastes sensational, and it is also nutritious. This is a low calorie, no fat dip your guests will appreciate.

Ingredients
  • 1 can (15 ounces) black beans, undrained
  • 1 teaspoon Chili Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon Garlic Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Oregano Leaves
  • 1/8 teaspoon Ground Red Pepper
  • 1 cup chopped tomatoes(If using canned diced tomatoes - drain)

Directions
  1. Drain beans, reserving 2 tablespoons liquid.
  2. Rinse and drain beans.
  3. Mix beans, reserved liquid, chili powder, cumin, garlic salt, oregano and red pepper in blender or food processor; cover.
  4. Process until beans are coarsely chopped.
  5. Transfer mixture to small saucepan.
  6. Cook on medium-low heat 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Add tomatoes; cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  8. Serve with baked or low fat tortilla chips or cut-up fresh vegetables.
