Near East Steak Salad

- 2/3 cup Dijon mustard shopping list
- 2 tbsp honey shopping list
- ½ cup water shopping list
- ¼ cup teriyaki sauce shopping list
- 2 tbsp grated, peeled ginger shopping list
- 1 tsp minced garlic shopping list
- 1 medium yellow or orange bell pepper (or half each for added color!) shopping list
- 1 lb boneless sirloin or flank steak, sliced thinly shopping list
- 8 cups mixed salad greens, washed & torn shopping list
- 2 green onions, thinly shredded shopping list
- ¼ cup chopped, dry-roasted peanuts shopping list
How to make it
- Combine mustard, water, Teriyaki sauce, honey, ginger and garlic.
- Pour ½ cup of this dressing into a small serving bowl.
- Broil or grill the steak 10 minutes or until done to your specified taste.
- Baste with the remaining ½ cup of the dressing, and let stand 5 minutes to absorb.
- Thinly slice the steak.
- Serve over the salad greens.
- Drizzle with reserved dressing.
