Ingredients
  • 1 3/4 cups tomato juice
  • 1 box lemon jello
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1 tbls. minced onion
  • 1 tsp. celery seed
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • dash worcestershire
  • dash tabasco (+/-)

Directions
  1. Bring 1 cup juice ,onion,celery seed,salt, worcestershire, tabasco to boil. Add jello . stir until dissolved. add remaining juice and vinegar. Pour into molds and chill. makes 6 molds .

Now this brings back memories. I worked in a french restaurant long ago and individual tomato aspic rings filled with cucumber and herb dressing was one of our many appetizers. It was amazingly delicious and cool in the Florida heat.
I must give this version a try.
