I thought this a different kind of recipe to share.

Ingredients
- 1 c. butter
- 1 c. honey
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. sour milk or buttermilk
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 4 c. flour
- 2 tsps. soda
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. ginger
Directions
- Cream butter and honey well, add beaten egg, sour milk, flour sifted with soda, spices and salt. Mix well and bake in two layers in a slow oven 275 degrees, for about 30 minutes.
- Watch close for honey cake burns very easily.
- You can use your own icing or serve hot without icing.
