  • ! pkg.(16oz) lasagna noodles
  • 2tsp olive oil
  • 1lb lean ground beef or meatloaf mix
  • 1/2c dry red wine
  • 1 jar(24oz) marinara sauce
  • 1/3c whole milk
  • 3/4c ricotta cheese
  • 1/2c fresh basil,chopped
  • 1/4c fresh grated pecorino romano cheese\pwepper
  • 1/3c mozzarella cheese

Directions
  1. Heat large covered saucepot of water to boilong. Add noodles and cook as label directs;increasing cooking time by 2-3 mins
  2. Meanwhile ,in a 12" skillet,heat oil on med-high. Add meat and cook until no longer pink,breaking it up with spoon,about 3 mins(if using meatloaf mix,drain off fat before adding wine). add wine;cook 2 to 3 mins. or till almost evaporated. Stir in marinara;heat to boiling. Simmer on low 5 mins,stirring occasionally. Stir in milk;simmer 5 mins
  3. In a bowl,stir ricotta with basil,romanoand 1/4tsp coarse ground black pepper;set aside
  4. Drain noodles;return to saucepot. Add meat sauce and mozzarella;toss well. Spoon onto 6 warm plates and top each with a dollops of ricotta mixture.
