How to make it

  • Cream butter and sugars together until smooth
  • Beat in eggs one at a time, then vanilla and lemon extracts
  • Gradually add flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Cover and chill dough for at least one hour (I seperate dough and wrap in 4 individual sheets of wax paper)
  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  • Roll out dough on surface dusted with CONFECTIONERS SUGAR
  • Best to stick within 1/4 - 1/2 in thick
  • Cut into desired shapes
  • Place 1 in apart on parchment lined cookie sheets
  • Bake 6-8 mins depending on thickness....DO NOT OVER BAKE!
  • Cool Completely
