Toffee Tiramisu

- 1 (10.75 oz) package prepared pound cake (frozen), thawed and cut into 9 slices shopping list
- 2 (1.4 oz) bars of English toffee, chocolate covered, chopped shopping list
- 3/4 cup brewed coffee, strong shopping list
- 1/2 cup chocolate syrup shopping list
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream shopping list
- 1 cup white sugar shopping list
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese shopping list
How to make it
- Place the cake slices on the bottom of a rectangular 11x7 inch baking dish, (you may cut slices to fit) Sprinkle the coffee over cake. Now, mix chocolate syrup, sugar, and cream cheese in a large bowl (using an electric mixer) on medium setting, until smooth. Add the whipping cream and continue to mix on medium setting until the mixture is light and fluffy. Spread mixture over the cake and drizzle the top with your chocolate-covered toffee candy. Apply your frosting over the cake and again, drizzle with toffee candy. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, (no longer than 24 hours) to set the dessert and blend flavors.
