Ingredients

How to make it

  • Sift dry ingredients in mixing bowl....
  • Add liquid ingredients & mix until batter will drip from the spoon
  • Drop from spoon into boiling stew & cover tightly.
  • Let cook undisturbed for 10-20 minutes depending on texture of dumplings you prefer.
  • The longer cooked, the firmer they will be.

    I used buttermilk and also cut in 1/4 stick of butter. My family loves them. Now, they request the dumplings every week, Thank you ....

    Thank you so much for this recipe.. they came out great! just like my grandmother used to make...it actually made me cry because it brought back the memories of being in the kitchen with my grandmother learning her recipes.

    thank you ive been looking for a fluffy and airy dumpling everytime i make chicken and dumplings my dumplings turn out too doughy, great dumplings!!!!!!!
