How to make it

  • 1. In a large bowl mix the breadcrumbs into the ground beef. Add all the other ingredients except the flour and oil. Mix well and form into meatballs.
  • 2. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat. Dredge the meatballs in flour. Fry the meatball in the oil turning often until golden brown. Add more oil as needed. Enjoy
  • Note: Don't over crowd the skillet, so it may take 2 or 3 batches.

    Honey, these sound wonderful, I love the addition of mint. I love our local restaurant that serves a greek spaghetti. I can't wait to try these.

    These meatballs "keftedakia" the way you make them are perfect - Another traditional Greek/Middle Eastern way of serving them is to toss them in a thick yoghurt and garlic sauce and then copiously sprinkle them with herbs.
