Greek inspired Meatballs

- 3/4 Cup of breadcrumbs soaked in 1/2 cup of water shopping list
- 1 1/2 Pounds lean ground beef shopping list
- 1 Large onion finely chopped shopping list
- 3 Tablespoons chopped parsley shopping list
- 1 Teaspoon dry mint leaves shopping list
- 1 Teaspoon oregano shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic minced shopping list
- 1 Tablespoon olive oil shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1 Tablespoon fresh lemon juice shopping list
- 1 Teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/4 Teaspoon pepper shopping list
- flour for dredging shopping list
- 1 Cup olive oil for cooking shopping list
How to make it
- 1. In a large bowl mix the breadcrumbs into the ground beef. Add all the other ingredients except the flour and oil. Mix well and form into meatballs.
- 2. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat. Dredge the meatballs in flour. Fry the meatball in the oil turning often until golden brown. Add more oil as needed. Enjoy
- Note: Don't over crowd the skillet, so it may take 2 or 3 batches.
