How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 400*F
  • Mix dry ingredients together, incorporating well
  • Rub the butter into this mixture until coarse and crumbly in texture
  • Add the cheese, parsley, walnuts, and garlic
  • Combine well
  • Drizzle the cream into the mixture, stirring well to make a soft dough
  • You may add more cream if necessary
  • Knead the dough gently on floured working surface for about 5 minutes
  • Pat out by hand to a disc of about 1 inch in thickness
  • Cut into 8 wedges
  • Place wedges on parchment paper lined baking sheet
  • Bake about 20 minutes until golden brown
  • To serve:
  • Eat as is with butter, or add your favorite filling.
