Apple Cinnamon Turnovers Recipe
Ready in 30 minutes or less. Not sure on the prep time I guess it is according to have one is.

Ingredients
  • 1 medium tart apple, peeped and chopped
  • 1/2 cup applesauce
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon, divided
  • dash ground nutmeg
  • 1 tube (7-1/2 ounces) refrigerated biscuits
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine, melted
  • 2 tablespoons sugar

Directions
  1. In a bowl, combine the apples, applesauce, 1/4 teapoon cinnamon and nutmeg.
  2. Separate biscuits; roll out each in a 6-in. circle.
  3. Place on greased baking sheets.
  4. Place a heaping tablespoonful of apple mixture in the center of each.
  5. Fold in half and pinch edges to seal.
  6. Brush with butter.
  7. Combine sugar and remaing cinnamon; sprinkle over tops.
  8. Bake at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
  9. Serve warm.
  10. Yield: 10- servings.

I made these for dessert tonight, and they were really good!! I had to cook them for longer than 10 minutes, though. It took about 15-20 minutes for the crust to be golden brown. But in the end, they were yummy!
