Chicken With Key Lime Glaze

Want to make a chicken dish that's different?...This is it.
Ingredients
- 1 small shallot, chopped shopping list
- 2 tsp. ginger, grated shopping list
- 2 tbls. butter shopping list
- 1 cup key lime juice shopping list
- 1/4 cup white wine shopping list
- 1 oz. honey shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- 1 chicken, cut up or 4 chicken breasts, or even chicken wings shopping list
How to make it
- Melt butter over med low heat in saute pan
- Add shallots and ginger and saute until shallots are tender
- Add key lime juice, white wine, honey, salt, and pepper
- Reduce mixture by 50 %
- Remove from heat
- Brush glaze over chicken
- Cook over medium heat until done basting occasionally

This sounds relly good!! I haven't been able to find key lime in my neck of the Desert tho :( Might just use lime juice...maybe???
