Chicken Thousand Island Slaw Recipe

How to make it

  • Remove chicken meat from bones and shred or slice;
  • Whisk together mayo, onion, catsup, vinegar, relish, caraway seeds, 1/2 t. salt, and 1/4 t. pepper in a large bowl;
  • Add coleslaw mix and stir to coat;
  • Transfer to a shallow serving dish and top with chicken.

    This looks like quite a unique way for coleslaw. I think I will give this a try soon. It's nice because aside from the sugar in the Catsup it doesn't have any additional sweet stuff.
