  • (1/2) CUP OF SHORTENING
  • (2) 3 OZ OF CREAM CHEESE
  • (2) CUPS OF SIFTED ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
  • (1) CUP OF SUGAR
  • (1/2) TEASPOON OF SALT
  • (1) TEASPOON OF VANILLA
  • YOUR FAVORITE JELLY

Directions
  1. IN LARGE BOWLOF ELECTRIC MIXER CREAM BUTTER,SHORTENING,CREAM CHEESE AND SUGAR
  2. SIFT FLOUR & SALT
  3. ADD AND CREAM TO CREAM CHEESE MIXTURE
  4. COVER AND CHILL IN REFRIGERATOR FOR (1) HOUR
  5. DROP BY TEASPOONFULS ON UNGREASED COOKIE SHEETS
  6. FLATEN SLIGHTLY WITH FLOURED GLASS
  7. MAKE A SLIGHT INDENTATION IN CENTER OF COOKIE WITH THUMB
  8. FILL WITH YOUR FAVORITE JELLY
  9. BAKE IN 350 DEGREES PRE-HEATED OVEN FOR 10-13 MINUTES OR UNTIL EDGES ARE LIGHTLY BROWNED
  10. LET STAND FOR A MINUTE BEFORE REMOVING FROM COOKIE SHEETS
  11. MAKES ABOUT (5) DOZEN
  12. THEY FREEZE WELL
