How to make it

  • In saucepan combine all ingredients
  • bring to a boil
  • pour into sterilized jars
  • store 24 hours at room temperature before using
  • refrigerate for up to 3 months
  • honey may crystallize when refrigerated but can be put in the microwave to bring it back to liquid form
  • makes 2 cups
  • you can keep the zest, chilies and allspice in the jars or if the flavor starts to get too strong take them out
