Haikus are one of my favorite forms of poems. The recipes are being written in the form of a haiku, if I understand Whack correctly. You have to kind of extrapolate the normal specific instructions of a cook book recipe.
    Like poetry, not for everyone.

Maybe I would have to have ever prepared dead cow to fully grasp the intricate juxtapositions that you are attempting to call forth. Perhaps If you changed it to:
    Cow, scorched yet bloody.
    Mingle others with delight.
    Pained Cow with some bite.
The finer points would be a bit less cloudy...

    Not quite getting it.
    Horseradish/Dijon? SPICY!
    But where is the "Soothe"?
(or is that a reference to what comes out of the cow's udder, to be served along with what really sounds like a tasty bit of beef? Sorry, a bit slow today)

Cow, scorched and bloody = cooked hot and charred but still very rare (AKA "Pittsburgh Rare" to pull a LTH reference and also my preferred approach) // Others mingle with delight = mix the other ingredients // Soothed Cow with some bite = cream is often used as a soothing agent for burns, in this case top the beef with the slop. The bite is a triple play on words. A) dijon and horseradish is rather peppy in flavor B) does bite refer to the peppy flavor or the act of eating it? and C) a bit of competing references juxtaposing soothing with biting... See? Wicked clear. What's the matter with you guys? Sheesh.

I am a little confused... first the cow is scorched and bloody, then soothed? I have to say that I am with LTH here, you certainly do not provide enough instruction, though your imagery is fantastic
