Ingredients

1 package frozen lima beans

1/4 pound ham

3-1/2 cups water

1 tablespoon onion flakes

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup cooking oil

Directions

In two quart pot add oil and brown ham then add water and beans and season to taste. Cover and simmer stirring occasionally until peas are tender about one hour.

Serve hot over rice.
