Ingredients
  • 8 large peppers or whatever quantity you have to freeze

Directions
  1. Set peppers on a broiler pan so they are 5 inches below the broiler element. (I use the BBQ) Broil, turning often, until peppers are blisered and charred on all sides, about 25 minutes. Place peppers in a paper bag, close bag tightly.
  2. Let rest for 20 minutes to loosen skins. Remove peppers and strip off skins. Cut peppers into quarters and remove stems and seeds. Cut peppers into 1 inch strips and freeze in containers.

This is such a great idea... peppers are about to come into season here, so I will give it a try.

Thanks!
