Cassis Beef Cutlets

- 1 lb ground beef ( ground lamb or chicken can be substituted) shopping list
- 1 1/2 teaspoon garam masala shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon Chopped ginger root shopping list
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin shopping list
- 1 teaspoon Corriander shopping list
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon tumeric ( saffron if you have it ) shopping list
- 1 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder shopping list
- 1 medium onion chopped shopping list
- 5 green chilies shopping list
- 1 bunch of cilantro shopping list
- juice of 1 large lemon shopping list
- 2 slices of bread- soaked in water then squeezed to drain- tear apart shopping list
- 1/4 bunch of mint leaves - chopped shopping list
- 1 egg- beaten shopping list
- bread crumbs shopping list
- canola oil to fry shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Mix onions, chilies, cilantro, mint and the juice of the lemon.
- Add the spices
- Add the ground meat
- Add the bread
- Add the egg
- Mix all ingredients and shape into small balls.
- Roll in the bread crumbs
- Flatten into small patties
- Fry until brown
- Njoy with rice

Having made recipes so similar to this previously, I found a whole bunch of Cilantro 'too much' --- but that could well be my taste only!!!! High FIVE :+D
