  • Soak the chana overnight. Boil in four cups water with salt to taste in a pressure cooker for 20 minutes after the whistle. Cool to room temperature and dry the water completely. Grind the pomegranate seeds and keep aside. Add all the dry masalas tothe chana. Saute the onions in 1 tsp oil to a transparent stage. Add to the chana. Sprinkle green chillies, lime juice (or tamarind juice) and coriander leaves. Serve hot or cold.
