Honey Mustard Chicken Recipe
These chicken breasts are juicy and tender because they are cooked quickly over a high heat and then brushed with a honey mustard sauce.

Ingredients
  • 3/4c dijon mustatrd
  • 2Tbs. honey
  • 1/4c sour cream
  • 1/4tsp cayenne pepper
  • 2tsp chopped tarragon
  • 4 boneless,skinless chicken breasts (pounded to 1/2" thickness)
  • salt,pepper
  • 1/4c sliced almonds,toaasted

Directions
  1. Combine mustard,honey and cayenne in a bowl Transfer 1/2c mixture to a seperate bowl and add in sour cream and tarragon. Set aside.
  2. Pat chicken dry and season with salt and pepper. Grill over hot fire till cooked through,2 to 4 mins. a side.
  3. Transfer chicken to a platter,brush with mustard mixture and sprinkle with almonds.
  4. Serve,passing sour cream mixture seperately.

Lovely recipe! The Dijon sure adds to the wonderful flavor of the dish. FIVER! :+D


Sounds great, will definitely try this one. I will be using thigh fillets instead of breast as I think they have more flavour and definitely a better 'no stick' component when it comes to cooking because of the higher fat content, which cooks out. (They are also heaps cheaper!) Great slant, I may try this for my next picnic with some slaw, tater salad, etc.
