a typical island favorite of the Bahamian people ..... hope you will enjoy it ........
Ingredients
- 1/4 - butter melted shopping list
- 2 - cups of sugar shopping list
- 2 - teaspoon of nutmeg shopping list
- 1 - pound coconut grated shopping list
- 2 - teaspoon essence (mix) or your own flavors shopping list
- 2 - teaspoon cinnamon /spice shopping list
- 4 - pounds ripe pumpkin grated shopping list
- 2 - cups of corn flour shopping list
- ---cherries, raisins (optional) shopping list
- 1 - cup sweet potatoes grated shopping list
- -singed banana leaves cut into 8 shopping list
- -by 8 squares. shopping list
How to make it
- Mix all of the ingredients thoroughly
- and place one spoonful of the mixture
- on each of the leaf.
- Finally, fold in ... parcel steam until cooked.......
- i guessed on the cooking time sorry ive had these but never made them .........

When I was in St Bart we had these and they were TERRIFICO!! That was right after we had fresh cinch salad made for us with a conch they just pulled from the ocean and chopped it up right there in front of us!! YUM!
