Creamy asparagus soup

creamy, dreamy ,good for you easy to slurp asparagus soup!
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp butter or margarine shopping list
- 1/3 cup chopped green onions shopping list
- 1 small potato, peeled and diced into 1/4-inch pieces shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- 4 cups chicken broth shopping list
- 2 lbs fresh asparagus, woody ends trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces shopping list
- 1/2 tsp fresh lemon juice shopping list
- 1/4 cup cream shopping list
- Chopped fresh chives to garnish shopping list
How to make it
- saute onions and add potato's
- stir in chicken broth, salt and asparagus
- boil for 7 minutes or until tender
- carefully blend in batches and pour into clean pot
- stir in cream and serve with garnish
- enjoy with a crusty bread for dipping!
