I grew up on this recipe. This is one of those recipes that I just had to help out with whether it was crushing crackers or dipping the meat. It was always fun to help cook this recipe when I was younger and now I cook it with my son.

Ingredients
  • 6-8 Tenderized Eye of Round Steak
  • 2 Sleeves Saltine Crackers
  • Oil for the pan
  • 4 or more Eggs

Directions
  1. Prepare Steaks by cutting off fat
  2. Put crackers in a bag and crush or grind through food processor
  3. Crush cracker till very fine
  4. Make One dish for crackers
  5. Make One dish for eggs
  6. Crack eggs and scramble
  7. Dip Steak into egg
  8. Dip Steak into crackers
  9. Repeat process for double breading
  10. Put Steaks into frying pan
  11. Med- low heat for 30 minutes on one side
  12. 30 minutes on other side
  13. Be careful to watch steak carefully too high of heat and it will burn.
  14. Check steak periodically
  15. Check Steak for desired temperature.
  16. Serve
