Big Country Holiday Breakfast Bake Recipe
I love these type of breakfast/brunch casseroles for the busy holidays.

Ingredients
  • 1 (12 oz) package bulk pork sausage
  • 1/3 cup chopped onion
  • 1/3 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 1/3 cup chopped red bell pepper
  • 10 eggs
  • 1 cup (4 oz) shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (12 oz) can refrigerated buttermilk biscuits

Directions
  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees. In large skillet, brown sausage, onion and bell peppers; drain well.
  2. Beat eggs in large bowl. Stir in cheese and sausage mixture.
  3. Separate dough into 10 biscuits. Press biscuits into bottom of
  4. 13 x 9 inch (3 quart) baking dish. Pour sausage mixture over biscuit crust.
  5. Bake at 375 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until egg mixture is set and crust is deep golden brown. Cool 5 minutes before serving.
