- 1/2 teaspoon garlic flakes shopping list
- 4 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 3 medium sized onions, finely chopped shopping list
- 500g mushrooms, sliced shopping list
- 1 tablespoon sweet basil shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
- 2 tablespoons Cream shopping list
How to make it
- Soak the garlic flakes in water for 20 minutes and drain.
- Melt the butter in a large frying pan and fry the onions, mushrooms and garlic for about 5 minutes.
- Add the basil, salt and pepper.
- Slow simmer for 10 - 15 minutes, with the lid on.
- Stir in cream. (add more cream if you wish)
- Serve immediately. (If you pre-prep the sauce, leave off cream until just before serving)
