Ingredients
  • 1 cup white sugar ( even a bit less also work )
  • 3 Tbs flour
  • 3 cups fresh sliced strawberries
  • 3 cups diced rhubarb
  • Topping:
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter ( 3/4 cup also works too )
  • 1 cup rolled oats

Directions
  1. Mix berries and rhubarb with sugar and flour and place in a 9 x 13 pan.
  2. Mix the remaining ingredients till crumbly ( use a pastry blender or your fingers
  3. Evenly spread over fruit mixture.
  4. Bake 375 about 45 minutes until top is crisp and lightly browned
  5. Optional: for a super duper crunch dessert serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream/topping
