Bacon And Cheese Macaroni Recipe
This is a dish that my entire family loves, cheese and bacon... what's better than that?

Ingredients
  • 1 package of macaroni pasta (elbow macaroni, Rotoni macaroni or the like)
  • 1/2 - 1 package of bacon (depending on how much you like bacon)
  • 3 cups grated medium cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
  • salt
  • pepper

Directions
  1. Cook pasta according to directions.
  2. Cut bacon into 1/2 inch pieces and cook until done.
  3. In bacon fat, add butter and melt.
  4. Add cornstarch and stir until bubbly.
  5. Add milk and stir until slightly reduced and thicker.
  6. Add 2 cups of cheese and stir until completely melted.
  7. Add bacon.
  8. Pour pasta in 11x14 inch baking pan, sprayed with Pam.
  9. Pour bacon/cheese sauce over pasta, mix together.
  10. Insert into 350 degree oven for about 20 minutes.
  11. Sprinkle remaining cup of cheese over the top, heat until melted.

I love homemade mac 'n cheese, and of course, everything is better with bacon! Great recipe.


Cheese and bacon, what's better than that? Nothing...well maybe cheese, bacon and jalapeno! Oh what a great recipe, thanks. I'll try it first with out jalapeno's but I am spicy guy. Thanks again
