How to make it

  • Cat the chicken into 8 pieces.
  • Place in a soup pot with wather,when water start boilng,add
  • chicken,and rest of the ingredients,exept the hot pepper and cauli-
  • flower..
  • then slowly bring to boil.Remove the scum on top with a ladle.
  • cook over very low heat,just below boiling point for about 3 hours.
  • Again making sure the soup never boils.
  • about 15-20 minutes before you decide the chicken is done.
  • add the pepper and cauliflower.
  • make noodels.Adjust saltiness of soup and add cooked noodles.
  • joy.........

    My mother in law is Hungarian and this is exactly how she makes it, less the hot pepper (she cannot eat hot). Thank you for this great recipe! Isn't vegeta great? I also use it in everything, almost!

    Parsnips--think I will leave mine in the ground over winter,flavor is sweeter after a good freeze.The parsley root,caught my eye as will.

    Don't want a cold,but if I did,this would be my kind of medication.
