How to make it

  • Sprinkle the gelatin over 4Tbs milk in a cup. Let stand for 5 minutes, then set cup in hot water and stir until gelatin is dissolved.
  • Warm the rest of the milk and stir in the sugar and gelatin mixture. Simmer, stirring continuously, for 5 minutes.
  • Remove from hjeat and stir in rosewater or vanilla
  • Pour into shallow dish that has been rinsed in cold water. Refrigerate until set
  • Cut into squares or cubes.

    I love rose water - I always have a bottle on hand - you can find it in Greek stores, Middle Eastern stores. Also you should try this recipe with Orange Flower Water.
