How to make it

  • mix ingredients let sit for one day(minus the meat!)
  • cut meat into 1/8 strips(easier to do if meat is slightly frozen
  • let meat sit in marinade for 24 hours
  • place on racks in oven or dehydrator for 6-8 hours at 145 degrees

    I don't eat animal flesh so this recipe is very unappealing. Are there are veggie jerky recipes out there?

    Great recipe! The Slim Jims and mass produced jerky products on the market don't have ANYTHING on some good homemade jerky!

    I like the use of the Szechuan Hot and Spicy sauce...good touch. I have been looking for a new jerky recipe to try. This looks like it!
