Cazayoux Smothered Pork Chops

- 6 pork chops shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
- 1 Tbsp. butter shopping list
- 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms shopping list
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup shopping list
- 1/2 cup water shopping list
- 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley shopping list
- 1/2 cup sour cream shopping list
- 1 (3 oz.) can french fried onions shopping list
How to make it
- In a large skillet, brown pork chops and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place chops in a casserole dish. In same skillet, melt butter, add mushroom slices and saute 2 minutes. Add soup and water; heat, stirring until well blended. Add parsley, sour cream and 1/2 can of onions. Mix well; pour over pork chops. Cover and bake in a 350* oven for 1 hour. Remove cover and sprinkle remaining onions on top. Return to oven for 5 minutes more.
