Holiday Crunch

- 1 1/2 cups powder sugar shopping list
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg shopping list
- 8 cups corn or rice squares cereal shopping list
- 1 cup white baking chocolate chips shopping list
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter shopping list
- 1/4 cup butter cut up shopping list
- 1/4 tsp vanilla shopping list
- 1 1/2 cup lightly salted cashews shopping list
- 1 1/2 cup dried cut up apricots or cranberries or cherries shopping list
How to make it
- In a large plastic bag mix sugar and nutmeg.
- Place cereal in another bowl.
- In a sauce pan over low heat, combine chocolate, peanut butter, nuts and butter and heat to melt.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla
- Cool slightly
- Pour melted mixture over cereal squares to coat evenly.
- Add cereal mixture to sugar in bag, 1/2 at a time and combine well to mix.
- Place on a shallow paper lined baking sheet to cool and harden
- Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
