How to make it

  • Boil 6 whole lemons for 5 minutes and drain and cool
  • Cut each lemon in half, toss with 1/2 cup kosher salt and pack into jars
  • Cover with the juice of 3 more lemons and add enough boiling water to fully submerge lemons in jars.
  • Store at least one week room temperature before using.
  • Zip up flavor by adding spices to the jar.
  • Once the jar is opened, they will last up to a jar in the refrigerator
