Easy Baked Chicken Breasts Recipe
Served on Rice Pilaf and with a nice salad, makes an excellent dinner guest meal.... Quick and easy too!

Ingredients
  • 8 chicken breast halves, skinned and boned and washed)
  • 8 (4x4) slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 (10 & 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 1 cup herb-seasoned stuffing mix, crushed ( I use Pepperidge Farm Herb Stuffing and do a little more than the recipe calls for.. I like the crunchy)
  • 2 or 3 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
  • Parsley (optional)

Directions
  1. Arrange chicken in a lightly greased 12x8x2 inch-baking dish.
  2. Top with cheese slices.
  3. Combine soup and wine; stir well. (use a whisk)
  4. Spoon sauce over chicken; sprinkle with stuffing mix. Drizzle butter over crumbs;
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes.( or until chicken is fork tender) Garnish with parsley.

I love this recipe....my family has changed the name to Stanley's Chicken. My friend's Dad (Stanley) loved this recipe and would ask his daughter to make it often....maybe just a little too often if you ask her!
