Turkey Tetrazzini Smothered in Cheese

- 2 tablespoons (1/4 stick) butter shopping list
- 1 package (8 ounces) sliced fresh mushrooms shopping list
- 1 pound spaghetti, broken into pieces and cooked shopping list
- 1 1/2 pounds cooked, cubed turkey (about 4 cups) shopping list
- 1 cup chicken broth shopping list
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion shopping list
- 1 can (10.75 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup shopping list
- 1 can (10.75 ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup shopping list
- 1 jar (4 ounces) chopped pimiento, drained shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper shopping list
- 1 package (8 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat the oven to 350F. Melt the butter in a medium skillet over medium-high heat. Add the mushrooms. Cook, stirring occasionally, until tender, 2 to 3 minutes.
- Combine the mushrooms, spaghetti, turkey, broth, onion, condensed soups, pimiento, salt, pepper and 1 cup of the Cheddar in a large bowl.
- Spread the mixture in a 13x9-inch baking dish. Cover and bake for 45 minutes. Uncover the dish. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Bake until bubbly and the cheese is melted, 10 to 15 minutes longer.
